It is my hope that all of you had a wonderful and enjoyable summer. Well, the construction is over. We have expanded the school to add an additional 3500 square feet to our space to create a superior and more comfortable learning environment. The new space has a library, a computer lab, increased classroom space and meeting areas, a lounge for students, an enlarged woodshop, a new state-of-the-art paint booth and four fully functional bays for installations and class projects. The significant growth in school enrollment during the last two years has led to the improvements in our facilities and course offerings. Have you seen the most recent magazine articles about the school? Well, In July’s issue of AutoMedia you will find a piece on a 2002 Mini Cooper demonstration vehicle that we were asked to outfit with a multimedia system featuring equipment from various manufacturers. Another article appeared in September’s issue of Audio Video International, titled “Schooling Installers”. Graduates, take a look, you might find yourself in one of the articles. We are now offering a one-day workshop for the First-Class installer MECP test. If you have been working in the field for more than a year and you feel that your skills are in need of recognition, well here’s the opportunity you have been waiting for.
